The project aims to develop a TOOL KIT of concept, methods and tools for adult educators to increase competence of supporting people to learn key skills of information society. The final beneficiary of the project results is an adult learner.
During the project partners from Finland, Estonia and Latvia in international cooperation, develop, tested and analyzed a variety of support activities to this purpose.
The main focus activating actions will be to increase learning motivation. When designing supporting measures "Diverse learning" -idea will be taken particularly account and in actions there also focusing to use both physical and virtual educational space.
Activities and actions of different areas are compared on a regular basis both virtually and in international meetings (one event in each area). Experiences are exchanged and modified suitable each participants and the area to fit.
The project experiences are gathered as a result of good practice Tool Kit (web based), which is during and after the project available for all interested.
The target group of the project is staff of adult civic skills development organizations (eg .libraries, associations and educational institutions).
The project is implemented in cooperation with the Turku City Library, Tallinn Central Library, Valmiera library and Turku Women's Centre Association, so that the overall responsibility for the project ( eg . financial , reporting, etc.) has the Turku City Library and the practical implementation of the main responsibility of Tallinn and Valmiera libraries and its partners and in Turku Turku Womens´ Centre.
